Balaji Mandir at Seminary:

The most popular of Indian deities Shri Balaji is the presiding deityin this temple situated in the serene and picturesque surroundings of, Nagpur's famed Seminary Hills. This temple also houses the idols of Lord Kartikeya who is believed to be the commanderof the army of Gods.

Maharaj Baug and Zoo:

The erstwhile Bhonsle rulers laid a beautiful garden,which is now known as The Maharaj Baug. It is converted into a botanical garden housing a zoo,containing some rare species of birds and animals.

Seminary Hill:

Named after the Seminary of St. Charles this hillock is about 6 kms.west of the old city giving a captivating panoramic view of the city.

Sitabuldi Fort:

A visit to Nagpur is not complete without a visit to this important landmark of Sitabuldi Fort, nestled on the Twin Mountains. In the year 1857 a British officer, built this fort and since then it has been one of the interesting destinations in Nagpur.

Sri Poddareshwar Ram Mandir:
In the year 1923, this beautiful temple was built with marble and sandstone carving work. The three principle characters of the Indian epic-The Ramayana are the presiding deities.

Tadoba National Park:

Tadoba National Park is situated at a distance of approximately 85 km from the city of Nagpur and comes under the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. Located away from the maddening rush of city life, in the heart of a reserved area, the national park serves as an ideal picnic spot as well as getaway destination for the people of Nagpur. The wide variety of wild animals seen at Tadoba National Park comprise of Tigers, Panthers, Bisons, Sloth Bears, Hyenas, Jackals, Wild Dogs, Blue Bulls, Sambar, Cheetahs, Barking Deer, etc.

Markanda is a cluster of nearly 24 temples, which resembles the architecture of the Khajuraho temples. This small town is located on the left bank of Vainganga River, which is famous as a religious site. The place derives its name from Sage Markandeya.

Dhapewada Lake is 8 km from Ramtek and 60 km from Nagpur. This place has a small temple of Vithoba lies peacefully on the banks of the Chandrabhaga River. It has a variety of water sports to offer as well. This place is known to be the Pandharpur of Vidarbha. Khindsey Lake is another beautiful water body set amidst the green stretch of the Ramtek hill. This place is an ideal picnic spot.

Nagardhan too has a fort, which is believed to be constructed by the Bhonsles. Gifted with an abundance of wild life, Nagzira has a wildlife sanctuary resting in natural domains that are a harmonious combination of lush greens and water bodies. Gaur, sambar and deer can be seen here.

Nawegaon Dam:
Nawegaon Dam is the most popular forest resort of Vidarbha. The resort provides different adventure sports. Kolu Patel Kohli built this dam at the start of the 18th century. A placed lake adorns the hub of the hill ranges. There are also watchtowers to catch the wildlife in action. There is a deer park near the dam as well called Dr. Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, along with three fascinating gardens and children's park.
